In the Jewish tradition, a Bar Mitzvah is when a boy becomes a man. In preparing for his Bar Mitzvah, Beau Bressler was told by his rabbi: "For the first 13 years, the world takes care of the boy. At 13, when the boy becomes a man, it's his job to help take care of the world."
