Dear Awards Manager,

I would like to enthusiastically recommend Jane Kaye Bailey for the Everywoman Award.

Jane is a humanitarian visionary and a leading proponent of philanthropic travel. She has single handedly followed her heart by envisioning, funding and building a permanent source of education, medical care and inspiration for a tiny impoverished village in southern Africa. Her tireless efforts have largely transformed a community in great need into one that looks with hope toward the future.

Jane's partnership with Exquisite Safaris Philanthropic Travel Worldwide is inspiring, educating and empowering other travelers to create their own humanitarian projects. Those new projects like hers will make a difference in the lives of countless children -ultimately contributing to the creation of a world in which peace and understanding are the rule not the exception.

The Butterfly Tree Project in Mukuni Village near Victoria Falls Zambia represents the difference one person while traveling on a holiday can do to 'give back.' We are proud to highlight her 'best practices,' for other travelers wishing to become philanthropic travelers. By my estimate, her selfless generosity will have touched and improved the lives of over 1000 human beings in the Mukuni Villages in only the first 18 months of the project.

Selecting Jane Kaye Bailey as the Everywoman Award winner 2008 will inspire countless others to follow in her footsteps. That represents a tangible peace dividend and legacy we can all be proud to share with our children.

Philanthropic Traveler funded High School opens near Victoria Falls, Zambia.

Sincerely,

David Chamberlain
